When AQ Bags started in 2004 the bags were predominantly made from new racing sailcloth. As the business evolved, new fabrics were introduced, including upcycled sailcloth.
The bags are manufactured in a workshop alongside my sailmaker husband, (Linton Sails), so there is a good source of retired sails. We are pleased to be taking the old sails and recycling them into bags reducing landfill.
Because of the varied nature of the material and design features of the sails, each bag is unique.
